The 6 yards long piece of cloth embracing your body in the most elegant and ethnic manner, have been a symbol of our Indian culture. The ritual of wearing saree has been coming along since generations. Different trends may keep flowing in or out but nothing can beat the trend of wearing a saree! There are numerous bloggers who have worn saree in hell lot of different ways. This versatile piece of cloth can be poured into any style, which does not have to go with the trend every time. Slipping into a saree is a different vibe overall, it gives woman the sense of confidence and there is no doubt that we Indian women love to flaunt our aanchal. I have styled 4 sarees that you can very comfortably style on your own.
1. The Elegant Way
Cotton sarees are always comfortable in the summers. They are easier to style and carry. The one that I am wearing in the picture below is a black cotton saree with red borders. This saree has become one of my favourite because of its simplicity and smooth texture. I am a person who opts for simplicity when it comes to sarees as they are easy to style and wear in the terrible hot summers of Kolkata. This saree gives me such a pure Bengali vibes with its elegance. There are no embroidery works on the material but you will see numerous thin whitish greyish lines all over it. I feel this adds more to the beauty of this material. The borders are of red, which is more on the maroonish side. I absolutely love the colour contrast going on all over this saree.
To match with the overall vibe of this saree I have paired a simple but not so simple blouse with it. It has a beautiful ruffled detail happening all around the neck and the cuffs of both the sleeves. At the back of the blouse, it has several brown false buttons. However, at the front it has those normal hooks. These ruffled detailing in particular gives the blouse a retro vibe. The best part is that you can wear this blouse on both the sides and both looks stylish. For this picture, I have worn it as backside in front. However, I forgot to take a picture of the blouse so could not insert it.
I have paired some minimal oxidized silver jewelleries because I didn’t want to kill the elegancy accessorizing a lot. Honestly, I have an unconditional love for oxidized silver jewelleries. It is very rare that you will find me wearing anything golden. The earrings have very beautiful embellishments on it and have paired it with so many outfits previously. It goes well with almost all eastern pieces. On the other hand, this oxidized long chain is my absolute favourite. The design on the neckpiece is very antique and vintage. I feel this to be something that can be styled with many Indo-Western outfits. You may also wear a silver ring to experiment with the look.
2. Simple Festive Way
For the second look, I wore this simple yet beautiful georgette olive green saree. It has silver threaded works in circular patterns all over the saree. Moreover, it has a super gorgeous aanchal with silver thread detailing. This saree gives a very pretty and chic vibes. The material is comfortable even during summers as I have myself worn this twice out in the sun. These types of saree are also appropriate for small festivities. I paired a simple golden sleeveless blouse with the saree. For these types of sarees you can also wear something silver. The best part of this kinda saree is that you can always style it according to choice. If you want, you can spice up the look with embroidered blouses or you can just go simple with the saree and both will look good because of the design on the saree.
Keeping it simple, I have just paired a big silver earring. The best thing about silver jewelleries is that it makes any look so aesthetic and boho. This is the sole reason I love silver jewelleries so much. I can literally pair any silver jewelry with any outfit, be it eastern or western! My love for silver jewelleries is eternal! However, you can add any silver oxidized ring to enhance the look. For the blouse, I paired a simple golden sleeveless blouse as golden blouses can be worn with almost every sarees. However, you can also pair a silver blouse as the aanchal has silver thread works all over it.
For the makeup part, I have avoided too much makeup but I have focused on my eyes. I went for a nude makeup look with smookey eyes. For the lids and transition colour I choose three different shades of brown. Near the liner area, I smoked out a black Kajal and then blended it with the brown shade on the lids. Next, I applied kajal on my lower lash line a little bit deeply as I love to apply my Kajal deeply because it kinda accentuates my eyes to the fullest. You can also check out my Instagram profile where I have uploaded a detailed tutorial on how to get these smokey eye look. The rest I have applied a pink nude shade lipstick. I loved how elegant the makeup turned out to be!
3. The Sophisticated Way
Adding some colour this time, I choose this beautiful orange and green mix saree to create a comfortable as well as a sophisticated look. The saree is mostly of this beautiful orange colour with small detailing of both light as well as deep green colour. Taking a close look, you will notice small four-petal flowers kinda design with golden threads all over the body of the saree. There are a lot happening on the borders of the saree thus, enhancing the beauty of this piece even more. The material is very comfortable and does not make you feel very hot. Also, these type of sarees are suitable for almost every occasion. It is just a matter of how you will style it. Hence, I decided to style this once in a sophisticated way. For this look, again, I have used the same golden sleeveless blouse as the previous one. However, for such a saree, an orange blouse will also steal the show.
Now, talking about the most beautiful part of this saree, which is the aanchal. This particular area is beautifully covered by multiple designs of both the shades of green. This is the only reason why this saree has caught my eyes. The design going on in the aanchal is different and unique from the ones that are there on the rest of the saree. The different colours like orange, green, golden, yellow are more prominent here. You can definitely wear this kinda sarees to a lot of places and occasion. I just added a sunflower on my bun to bring out the overall look to be more aesthetic maybe!
Now coming to my favourite, that is, the jewellery part, I wore this beautiful green jhumkas. I could have gone for something golden on my ears but contrast is the name for game changer! Also, the saree has a lot of designs with green colours so I chose to match my earrings with that. However, these sorts of earrings are available in almost all the local shops in Bara Bazaar, New Market, Gariahat. Therefore, you can definitely get one for yourself easily. Nevertheless, there are varieties of colours for these earrings, pastel colours as well. For the neck part, I chose to keep it empty, as it would have been too much. Also, I wanted to keep this amazing saree as the centre of attention and adding a neckpiece could have been a barrier. In order to exaggerate the look I paired a golden ring on the finger. I chose golden to compliment the yellow golden colours on the saree. You can also wear something contrasting. This happens to be one of my favourite rings for its unique design. If you look closely, there is the face of Maa Durga in the centre of it. Moreover, its sides have been provided with minuter detailing. Now you know why I love this ring!
I did not go for anything loud for the makeup and chose to keep it simple yet pleasing. Hence, I did a slight orangish eye makeup with thin eyeliner and some mascara on. For the lips, I wore a brown nude lipstick. This is my current favourite from the brand Coloressence. Now adding my most favourite part of the makeup, that is a highlighter. I absolutely love applying highlighters for its glow and shine. For hair, I went for a low bun with little bit of hair strands coming out in the front. This is one hairstyle that is simply and easily doable with any Indian outfits. However, there are lot more hairstyles that you can definitely try with this look.
This is it for today! I hope you guys enjoyed all of these easy and comfortable Indian looks with these three saree outfits. We are living in an era where fashion knows no bounds and people, now and then, are experimenting with their closets to create something best out of it. Now people believe in the cyclical fashion trends. The fashion trends that were seen back in the 80s and 90s, or even earlier to that, have certainly found its way among the recent trends.
When we talk about vintage outfits what comes to our minds first? Bell bottoms, oversized clothes, miniskirts, belts, boots to name a few? Well, that’s right, but vintage fashion is not only limited to these elements but it can be created using any piece. Vintage fashion has always been the most elegant and sophisticated throughout the decades. They just add to your overall getup. No matter what your style is, you can always play with your closet to create a vintage outfit that fits your style! Here are some very simple yet elegant, vintage outfits that you can pull off really easy.
1. Basic White Aesthetic Look
Shirts are one of the most basic and versatile pieces that almost everyone has in their closets. On the other hand, white is the most elegant colours that one can dress up and down in every occasion. Also, wearing anything white as a vintage piece looks very retro, stylish and trendy at the same time. Here in the picture above, I have created a very easy to go vintage outfit with a basic, crisp white shirt and blue denims. Again, washed blue, light blue or ice blue denims look very retro stylish. You can wear them with anything and you are all set! Whenever, I think of any vintage outfit, this look has to be one of the many.
I have added some golden Jewelleries to this look just to amp up the entire vibe. Golden, yet again, is very aesthetic and helps to enhance your looks. You can always add some more golden Jewelleries to this look as per your vibe and style. At the same time, this makes the whole look to look classier. Layered neckpieces are very much in trend now. They are a perfect fit as vintage or aesthetic jewelleries. The combination of golden and white is pleasingly aesthetic. Here, the entire outfit looks very classy with this golden four layered neckpiece paired with crisp white shirt and light blue denim.
This outfit will easily go with a pair of shoes, boots, sneakers and even heels or stilettos. To go some extra, you can wear black shades and carry a clutch bag. Preferably, a black or a beige coloured clutch bag would go well with this outfit. The overall outfit has a touch of elegance and is very much summer appropriate.
2. The Red Rich Aesthetic Look
T-shirts are the absolute common pieces in our closet. You can easily create an aesthetic outfit with a basic T-shirt! However, you just need to choose its colour wisely. Well, that is why I am here! To help you out in choosing an aesthetic colour for your aesthetic outfit. Red is one such colour that helps you get the much desired aesthetic look. Thus, I have created an easy to go aesthetic look with this red T-shirt and paired it with light blue denim. This colour combination can also be marked as a rich colour combination. Thus, I have named it as ‘The Red Rich Aesthetic Look’. This look is very casual but aesthetic!
To add a bit more I have also styled a bandana scarf with the outfit. I have used this black and white printed bandana scarf around my neck to give a retro touch. Also, I have added a pearl element with the look. I wore small pearl studs on my ears. I feel pearls are very stylish, elegant and retro. Apart from these, I wore a small silver ring on my finger. This is an oxidized silver ring, very aesthetic and can be worn both with western and ethnic outfits. I really like how this outfit turned out eventually!
You can definitely go with various footwear along with this look. If you go with white sneakers, it will match with the pearl earrings. Next, black boots or heels will also match perfectly as they will match with the printed bandana scarf around the neck. You can also carry a small sling bag of black, white or any nude shade. Black retro sunglasses will look amazing and bomb! You can also go with black cat eye sunglasses.
3. Classy Black Aesthetic Look
Black goes with every occasion! You can definitely dress it up and down according to your vibe. Here I took this black outfit to create an aesthetic vibe. I paired a blazer or coat with Black flared pants. To make it more impactful I wore a white turtle neck inside. This is my high school blazer, lol. It was just lying with my old clothes, so decided to use it. Nevertheless, the entire outfit turned out to be more like a girl boss aesthetic. And this is such a different vibe overall, a powerful one.
As a lot is already happening with this outfit, I tried to keep this simple. Thus, I didn’t add any jewellery as such. As it would have looked a lot more dramatic otherwise. Hence, in order to keep it aesthetic I avoided any gold or silver Jewelleries. However, if you want to add anything small, you can go with an oxidized silver ring. Thus, you will be good to go.
With this outfit I carried a beige sling bag and black sunglasses. These sunglasses just added more to the bossy thing. The sling bag added more to the aesthetic side thus, giving this a balanced, classy black aesthetic look. Black heels or white sneakers would preferably go with this.
4. The Printed Aesthetic Look
Prints have always been in trend. I have worn this dusty yellow printed oversized shirt with the same blue denim. Also, I wore a basic white t-shirt in a cropped manner. I tried to make this entire look a bit baggy and oversized but aesthetic. Thus, on top of the white t-shirt I just threw an oversized shirt. However, you can also style the shirt in various ways on the t-shirt to match your look and vibe. You can tie a loose knot in front or even tuck in the shirt or just tuck in only half of the shirt. Any of these will look good.
I styled this outfit with a layered neckpiece to match with the oversized shirt as well as to complement the white t-shirt. However, I avoided any earrings or rings. Moreover, I avoided open hair and tied it into a high ponytail. Baggy shirts are one of the major elements in aesthetic fashion.
Keeping this look a bit on the casual side, I paired grey shoes to go along with this outfit. You might also go with white shoes but I chose to keep my shoes neutral so I wore these grey shoes. You may also carry those really aesthetic black cat eye sunglasses with golden frame. This will surely compliment the entire look.
5. The Minimal Aesthetic Look
So this is going to be the last look that I have created. It’s very simple and kind of a very minimal outfit. Just some very basic pieces are put into use. Probably this one will be perfect for any causal day out if you do not want dress up much. I just wore a basic white t-shirt and tied a knot in front. Below this I wore a very comfortable black palazzo of light, breathable material (mostly polyester).
To put this entire outfit together you need to accessorize it a little bit. Otherwise this is going to look very flat. Hence, I have used some golden pieces to accessorize. These are the same jewelleries from the first outfit. Moreover, this is a complete black and white outfit if you notice properly. Also, black and white is a very common colour and we all have them in our closet. Along with this, I have also tied a bandana scarf as a hair band to add the aesthetic element in the overall outfit.
The bandana goes perfectly with the outfit as it is also black and white. It’s kind of hippie aesthetic look overall. Again this time I have made a high ponytail. Block heels or wedges sandals will be suitable under this outfit. Nevertheless, you can also opt for flats.
Thus, these are 5 aesthetic outfit ideas that can be easily created from some basic pieces. You just need some jewelleries to amp up the outfits. Hope you guys liked it ❤️ Let me know in the comments below how you liked these outfits and which one is your favorite! Also, don’t forget to like, comment and share these aesthetic outfit ideas with your friends and loved ones! Will see you in the next blog, till then stay home and stay safe!

However, there are people to tend to believe that a perfect, flawless, glowing skin is not possible during summers. Well, skin problems such as acne, blemishes, pigmentation, pimples, allergies, etc. caused due to sun’s heat and sweat becomes the major restriction. Moreover, some of the skin problem tends occur due to a lot of hormonal changes in our body. Nevertheless, we can still keep these problems in control following a skin care routine on a regular basis.

These products are basically summer essentials that you should own and carry whenever and wherever possible. Also, these are chemical free, cruelty free and natural products. Moreover, am pretty much sure that you people too will like these products as they are super affordable. So here is the list of essentials along with the links from where you can also purchase them.
FACE WASH
Face washes are the basic as part of essentiaIs. It is an important step in every skin care routine. They cleanse your skin thus, giving you an instant freshness. Try carrying a small face wash whenever you go outside. Wash your face when you feel your face to be greasy and dirty. This will help to prevent clogged pores and pimples. Moreover, wash your face twice daily to keep it healthy. If you have oily skin you should always use a water based gel face wash. However, you can also opt for face washes that have ingredients like green tea, turmeric, neem, tulsi, etc.
Sometimes back I was using the green tea gel based face wash from Oriflame. I just loved how my skin felt after using the face wash. There was slight glow and my skin became visibly clean and fresh. It really reduced oil and pimples on my face effectively. It also removes makeup efficiently. I would highly recommend you guys to use it on oily skin. Currently, am using Patanjali Saundarya face wash that has ingredients like aloe vera, neem, tulsi and orange peel. It is also working great for my skin. It has reduced oil secretion and acne. Also, if you have acne or pimples this face wash is effective to cure them really fast. Prolonged use of this face wash also makes the skin glow.
Scrubbing your face is always a good idea as it deep cleanses your skin and removes dirt, blackheads and whiteheads. However, there are little tips that you should keep in mind while scrubbing your face.
• Always use any mild scrub as hard scrubs can damage skin tissues on your face.
• Scrub your face very gently otherwise it will again damage tissues.
• Do not scrub or exfoliate every day. Use them twice a week on oily skin.
• Never use body scrubs on your face as they are hard scrubs as compared to the ones that we use for face.
Natural exfoliations happen to work best for oily skin. However, there are certain scrubs available in the market that works amazingly. I have tried face scrubs from certain specific brands that have work great on my skin. Oriflame essentials fairness exfoliating scrub is an amazing scrub that has small gentle beads to effectively remove blackheads and whiteheads. Skin really becomes smooth, soft and glowing after using this scrub. You can also opt for Everyouth walnut scrub it is equally good. On the other hand, you can also try Patanjali Apricot face scrub with wheat germ and aloe vera. It not only removes blackheads and whiteheads but also moisturize the face thus, making it soft.
If you don’t want buy scrubs from the market and you are looking for something effective and homemade, don’t worry, I have your back. I’m using homemade scrubs for quite a few months now. Moreover, I just love how it has improved my skin’s texture. Take a bowl and add required amount of rice flour and aloe vera gel. Mix them and your scrub is ready! Now apply it after you have washed your face and scrub gently, then wash off. This gives an amazing glow to the skin and brightens complexion. This is also effective in removing tan. You can use this scrub twice a week.
If you want to step up your skin care routine but you don’t have enough time for it sheet mask has your rescue. This is just a quick step to make your skin feel fresh, hydrated and brightened up. Since the time sheet masks were introduced they have become quite an important step in skin care routine. No wonder this has to be one of the essentials in summer. Sheet masks are absolutely easy to use.
You just have to use the sheet mask on your cleansed face and keep it on for 15-20 mins. Enjoy your favorite activity and relax! Then gently remove the mask and don’t forget to dispose it as sheet masks are not reusable. After you remove, gently pat and massage the serum. And voila! There you get your perfect, fresh, glowing skin. Even before your makeup you can quickly apply your sheet mask.
There are varieties of sheet masks available, choose the one that suits your skin type. Garnier has some really good and affordable range of sheet masks. The ranges of Bamboo sheet masks from Mamaearth are very hydrating. Also, Nykaa sheet are even effective. I have used the Nykaa tea tree sheet mask and is absolutely amazing. Moreover, it has a very good amount of serum that makes my skin feel wow!
Face packs tend to detoxify your skin. Hence, you should never hurry with your face packs. You should keep your face pack on for at least 10 mins after applying it all over your face and neck. I generally prefer using homemade face packs with natural ingredients as they happen to be more effective on my skin.
In a bowl I take the following ingredients:
• 1/2 tbs of rice flour,
• 1tbs of gram flour (besan),
• 1/3rd tbs of aleo vera gel,
• Pinch of turmeric powder,
• Little bit of Fuller’s earth (multani mitti)
In the next step I mix all these ingredients together with 4-5tbs of chilled milk. Apply the face pack after cleaning your face with face wash and keep it on until it is semi-dry. While washing, scrub your face for 2-3 minutes and then wash away completely. If you are having too many pimples and acne on your skin, do not scrub for too long as it might get spread. Be gentle. This face pack gives visibly instant freshness and glow to the skin. Use twice a week and your skin will be a lot better.
ROSE WATER
Rose water is known for its antibacterial properties that cure many skin problems. It is very effective in improving complexions thus giving a clear and fresh skin. It reduces redness and acnes that leads to it. Also, it is great at treating skin puffiness. Moreover, rose water can be used in various ways. You can use it as a cleanser, toner or mix it with your face packs. It helps to maintain your skin’s natural pH balance. Another way of using rose water is that to mix it with glycerin and apply on your cleansed face as this will tighten your pores and make your skin more clear.
No doubt, you must include the use of rose water daily in your skin care routine. It will help to keep your skin fresh and clear during summertime. I prefer using Dabur Gulabari rose water but you can use any rose water from any trusted brands. You can also DIY rose water at home using some fresh rose petals and distilled water. You can also carry rose water in a spray bottle whenever you go out in the sun. Spray it on your skin whenever you feel redness and irritation. This will sooth your skin and treats the irritation caused due to too much exposure in the sun.
Mamaearth’s Oil-free face moisturizer with Apple Cider Vinegar works really well on oily skin during summers. It is free from paraben and silicon and is absolutely non-comedogenic. Moreover, its light weight and non-greasy formula does not make my skin look oily. It effectively locks skin hydration and helps me to look fresh. Also, the quantity of the product is really good. This moisturizer is super affordable and will last for a long time. Mamaearth’s Oil-free face moisturizer can be used as an effective moisturizer before doing your makeup. Thus, the oil free moisturizer is definitely a yes for acne prone skin. You can also go for any gel based moisturizer product for your oily skin. Pond’s super light gel moisturizer also works great on oily skin. You can also use it before applying makeup.
Just like your face, rest of your body also requires hydration even during the summers. Thus, using body lotion becomes very important. They prevent dryness, anti aging, wrinkles and provide nourishment, hydration, locks skin moisture and makes it feel smooth and glowing. Try using some non greasy light body lotions as they don’t make you feel uncomfortable. There are so many light body moisturizers available in the market. Vaseline has a range of such affordable body lotions for summer. On the other hand there are several others like Parachute, Nivea, Oriflame and many more. All the body lotions from these brands are extremely effective. You can definitely go for the body lotions from these brands to achieve your perfect hydrated skin.
This is one important thing that no one should ignore whenever they are going out either in summers or in winters. The benefits of using sunscreens are endless. Moreover, these play a major role in protecting your skin from the harmful effects of the sun’s rays. Direct exposure to sun rays can cause several skin problems like sun allergies, redness on the skin, pigmentation, wrinkles and even aging of the skin. Applying sunscreens with SPF 30 or above helps you to protect your skin from the direct rays by forming a layer. Anything below the SPF of 30 is not much effective as they have lower potential to give protection against the sun. Also, you must choose your sunscreen very wisely. Remember, sun rays can cause three major problems, aging of the skin, burning of the skin and skin cancers. Thus, you must use suntan lotions that provides UVA and UVB protection which means protection against aging and burning. To avoid skin cancers you must avoid prolonged period of exposure under the sun.
With this we have come to the end of this blog. The best part about these essentials is that these are not gender biased. Thus, both male and female of all age groups can use these products during the summertime. I have been using these products for quite some time and they have been working great on my skin. We all go through some sort of stress and anxiety in our daily lives but do we ever realize how much it is affecting our peace of mind? Do we ever speak up to share our problems with others? If not, then why? Fear of judgements from the people around us? Read further to get all of your answers.
People may think that some only crave for attention and their problems are only temporary and may heal with time. Not always all the problems can be healed with time. Suffering from anxiety, stress, fear sometimes doesn’t let you breathe and you feel that suffocation in your mind everytime! It makes you get lost in your thoughts, thoughts of being left alone, thoughts of being separated from the joyfulness of life, thoughts that slowly pushes you towards ending your life. Depression, a common thing in the youth nowadays, causes a phobia of living. Depression has been an invisible enemy of all the time.
An Invisible Enemy that has already taken so many innocent lives and so many people are still fighting it within themselves.
Where nights are a wagon of pain, countless toss and turns but sleep fails to join, when the darkness of life becomes more visible in the dark.. People often want to detach themselves from the hustles of life and chooses to be silent. Their minds are constantly popping with thoughts which gradually becomes suicidal. No being able to share these feelings or thoughts only leads the sufferer to a more darkened path of his life where he slowly looses his faith in the path of returning back to his normal happy life. Fighting with the causes is not easy, a person needs to gather all his strengths to stand up, to push himself away from the monotonous part of his life. Not everyone receives support in this battle. In this situation, many a times the person has to be dependent only on himself because no one tries to understand his part of the story. There are thousands and thousands of people who are going through this dark phase of their lives, destroying their mental peace, suppressing their voices, pushing them behind everybody else. Eventually, these people start loosing their focus in work. Messed up with their thoughts and not knowing what to do or how to deal with their situation they become discouraged from achieving what they have always wanted to do. Their goals starts to blur in their minds.
Suffering from Depression is no joke. People going through depression fails to speak up their problems fearing the judgements they have to encounter. To go through depression is not a shame and it needs utmost attention like other health issues. Sadly, Mental Health issues lacks the much needed attention in our country. So let us take this initiative to stop judging others, stop comparing and start to lend our ears..open up.. speak up whatever is destroying our mental peace before this “enemy” swallows the entire mankind!
Judging people brings down their self morale, passes negative energies and sometimes makes them question about themselves. You should always think before passing on a statement or any comments because they have serious affects on others minds directly. Sharing others pain can really help someone to lighten his heart. Let’s make it a movement that ‘Depressed people are not alone’.
I hope this has helped you to look at your life from a different angle. You must always speak about your problems, if not to everyone but, to your closed ones with whom you are comfortable. To lead a healthy lifestyle a stable mental health is very much important. Today am leaving here, and hope to see you soon with another new blog. Hope you guys liked this, do share this with your friends and family because everyone out there needs a stable mental health right? Take care!❤️
